B.P.O.E – Stained Glass

I found this image while looking for good pictures on the Elks.  It was listed as being in the Ingle Building, a historic building from 1906 in San Diego.  From what I can tell the stained glass was moved from a lodge in Stockton California, #218.  Currently the Ingle Building is a Hard Rock Cafe.

I took this photo in 2002 during the California Hawaii State Convention in SD. The Stockton lodge was closing and moving. The glass was placed in storage for years, until it was purchased for the purpose of using is a ceiling in the bar at the Hard Rock. The convention is held in SD every 3 years and is a pilgramage for many wandering Elks.
